Fullbringer arc? I watched until the end of Bleach. He lost his powers at the end of the anime after he defeated the final boss. Am I remembering wrong?

I don't mind him dying. I mind him dying off-screen with the only other notable fight in his list being when he got KO'd by Ichigo WAY back in the Rescue Rukia stuff. He could've done more - say, held off Wonderweiss for a bit - so we, the audience, actually Care about his death. As is it's a little sad, but not AS impactful. As is, some people might miss that he had Bankai until the guy that stole it goes to use it on Yamamoto.
